The seventh meeting of the Lazarev Club was held in Moscow
and once again became a platform for discussing the complex dynamics in
Armenian–Russian relations.
Konstantin Zatulin, a long-standing participant in
discussions on regional policy, addressed the political situation in Armenia
and the potential outcomes of upcoming elections, including possible risks to
the country’s stability and foreign policy orientation.
His remarks reflected ongoing concerns among some Russian
political circles regarding Armenia’s internal developments and its
geopolitical trajectory.
At the same time, Zatulin’s continued engagement in Armenian
affairs highlights the broader debate about external commentary on domestic
politics and the sensitivities it can generate.
Overall, the meeting illustrated how the Lazarev Club
remains a forum where differing perspectives on regional security and political
change are openly expressed.
