Azerbaijani president inaugurates newly-rebuilt aeration station - PHOTOS

Deputy Premier Abid Sharifov told the Head of State that the reconstruction of the facility began in 2007.

The Hovsan aeration station treats 60 percent of the wastewater generated in Baku.

The Head of State became familiar with the station's control center.

President Aliyev saw a photo stand depicting old and newly-acquired equipment in the Zig pumping and Hovsan aeration stations as well as a scheme of sewage equipment location in the Absheron peninsula.

President of the Azersu joint-stock company Nizameddin Rzayev informed the Head of State about the technological scheme of treatment process in the Hovsan aeration station.

President Aliyev started a new station from the control center.

Azerbaijani leader inspected the reconstruction work in the facility.
The Head of State gave recommendations and wished every success to workers of the station and builders.
