Baku funicular to be fully renovated till Eurovision-2012

Plans about the 41-year-old Baku funicular have totally changed after this rare means of transport was closed down for renovation in April this year.

Two old carriages operated by the funicular have been sent to depot.

Head of the Funicular’s Railway Office Tofiq Ismayilov said this the funicular will be fully renovated and re-launched till Eurovision-2012 song contest.
