Azerbaijani charge d’affaires in Indonesia Farid Talibov: “Indonesian parliament will establish a special group on Nagorno Karabakh conflict”

Indonesian parliament is planning to establish a special group on Nagorno Karabakh conflict, Azerbaijani charge d’affaires in Indonesia Farid Talibov told journalists, APA correspondent reports.

Talibov said Azerbaijani embassy held a series of meetings at the Indonesian parliament and universities to give true information about the Nagorno Karabakh conflict to the Indonesian society. Indonesian parliament held a hearing on this issue and is expected to establish a special group on Nagorno Karabakh conflict.

“Azerbaijani-Indonesian relations are developing dynamically. Indonesia fully supports the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Azerbaijan. Indonesia recognized the independence of Azerbaijan in December, 1991 and diplomatic relations between the two countries were established in September, 1992”.

Charge d’affaires said trade relations between the countries were developing year by year. “Trade turnover was $798 million in 2010. $792 million of this amount is share of the products exported from Azerbaijan. Indonesia exports chemical products, natural rubber, clothes to Azerbaijan. We are working now for agricultural export”.

Talibov reminded that Indonesian president invited Azerbaijani president to visit this country. “Azerbaijani president also invited his Indonesian counterpart to visit our country, but the visits have not been scheduled yet”.
