New York to host events devoted to Republic Day of Azerbaijan

Events devoted to the Republic Day of Azerbaijan and the 88th anniversary of late head of state Heydar Aliyev will be held in New York City on May 24-31, 2011. The collective of Azerbaijan State Theater of Musical Comedy will also attend the events.

The art department of Culture and Tourism Ministry said that people’s artist Afag Bashirgizi will also be on the collective. Our artists will go to New-York at the invitation of Azerbaijan-New York Association.
