U.S. Azerbaijanis held a protest action in Washington DC February 25, while Armenians tried to organize their own protest, APA’s US correspondent reports.

Azerbaijani Diaspora held a protest action near the Armenian embassy commemorating the 19th anniversary of the Khojaly massacre February 25.

Azerbaijani Diaspora members brought signs condemning Armenians of massive killings and brutality. The Diaspora members characterized the meeting as very successful.

In their turn the Armenian Diaspora in Washington DC tried organizing an event dedicated to the Sumgait events, but the event wasn’t very successful. Azerbaijani Diaspora has held an action on education US media and officials about the Sumgait events by sending them manuals and letters with detailed explanations about the events.
