Explanatory dictionary of terms used in Azerbaijani journalism is being developed in two languages

The Terminology Commission of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) is developing explanatory dictionary in Azerbaijani and English languages, which are used in the Azerbaijani journalism, commission’s deputy chairman Sayali Sadigova said.

According to her, two-volume explanatory dictionary of borrowed terms used in the press is also being prepared by the Terminology Commission: “The equivalents of the borrowed terms used in Azerbaijan must be found, the conception of borrowing of new terms in the country must be developed”.
