Azerbaijan-Europe Bike Week due as part of Year of Ecology

The rally is organized by the Azerbaijan Ministries of youth and sports, ecology and natural resources, a number of other governmental organizations and European Economic and Trade and Industrial Chamber.

The event will allow foreign and local riders to take part in the bicycle racing from Baku to Ganja.

The main objective of the Week is to raise the profile of cycling as a healthy, easy, low cost and environmentally friendly alternative to driving, promote energy and food security, a wholesome living and ecological awareness.

The event will bring together local and foreign ecologists, diplomats, power engineering specialist and production engineers.
