I will carry out my commission until the election of new ombudsperson: ombudsman

“My Ombudsperson commission expires on July 2. The parliament said that Ombudsperson’s second term is not forbidden and there is not such prohibition in legislation on Ombudsperson”, said Ombudsperson Elmira Suleymanova, APA reports.

She said according to legislation she could carry out her commission until the election of new Ombudsperson. “I am waiting for the decision. Not depending on who will be elected Ombudsperson, I will support this person. I was with my people until taking this office and I will continue that further”.
