Azerbaijan's Minister of Health: "The situation with children's mortality has improved in the country as compared to previous years"

There is a large-scale program -"Maternal and children's health", in line with which the major repair of special centers, aimed to reduce death rates in the country, will finish in Baku, Ganja and possibly in Lenkoran.

The due announcement was made by Oqtay Shiraliyev, Azerbaijan's Ministry of Health.

He said it is also planned to train highly professional specialists abroad, purchase new equipment for children's hospitals and maternity houses.

"Basing on the statistical data, it can be said that the situation with children's mortality has improved as compared to previous years", Shiraliyev said.
