Azerbaijan corresponds with European Court on 35 appeals

He stated that 11 of the appeal were rejected by the court because of unknown reasons, decision was passed on Fehmin Hajiyev's case, and the corresponding continues on 23 appeals.

The appeals cover all items of the European Convention.  Greater part of appeals is about the violation of items of Convention as 6th item (the right of just court investigation), 8th item (the right of respect to person and his family), 11th item (right of assembly) and First Protocol Article 1(property law).

It should be noted that 360 appeals from Azerbaijan were sent to European Court in 2003, 251 appeals in 2004 and 172 appeals in 2005, APA reports.
