Investigation records announced in Haji Mammadov's trial

Court of Grave Crimes today continued the trial of the gang led by Haji Mammadov, former high ranking official of the Interior Ministry Crime Investigation Department.

26 members of the gang stand trial presided by Judge Ali Seyfaliyev.

Judge Sedreddin Aliyev announced Adalet Asadullayev's appeal to NSM Investigation Department chief Talat Mammadov and the minister Eldar Mahmudov.

Asadullayev said that he had participated unawareness in the three episodes of ten. The defendant asked the investigation bodies not treat him as the member of Haji Mammadov's gang and asked to remove him from the group. Then Nasirov substantiated his solicitation.

"The officers of Baku Main police Board Aydin Rzayev, Nizami Gasimov and the former deputy chief of the department Javadaga Sultanov said in their testimony that IM Crime Investigation department took the kidnapping and other crimes from them. Now I want to announce those documents to find out whether they were on the trace of those cases," he said.

Among the announced records there were the records of the investigations of kidnappings of Shirkhan Albiyev, the chief of Azersigorta State Concern Mammad Mammadov's son Ahmad Mammadov, Ogatay Babayev, Mejid Mammadov and Saray resident Mehman Mammadov who was later killed by group members. The record said that the gang members made Ahmad Mammadov's family buy new mobile phone for negotiations.

"A person called Ilham Asadov said that he had no information about Ahmad’s place and who kidnapped him and considered important to give money for his releasing. It got clear that there were policemen among the kidnappers," the record says.

The record also said that the identikit of the kidnapper was made on the witness's information.

Then the records of Mehman Samadov's kidnapping were announced. His mother Sevil Samadova said that she appealed to the president and said that he suspects Farhad Mammadov and his uncle Haji Mammadov.

The trial will be continued in the second part of the day, APA reports.
