The comedy will be staged in Western Europe for the first time. It will be staged by Farhad Bedelbeyli, Baku Music Academy rector, Azad Aliyev- director of Opera Studio named after Shovket Mammadova and head conductor of Azerbaijan Television and Radio Symphonic Orchestra named after Niyazi.
The director is Michael Schnak. Azad Aliyev will conduct the comedy only on 28 September. There will be only Austrian singers in the performance. Arias will be sound in Azerbaijani, but the texts will be in German.
Aisha Lindsay (soprano) will play Gulchohra, Joanno Luto (soprano) will play Asia, Ramin Dustdar (tenor) will play Asker, Lean Yakus Roussi (tenor) will play Soltan bey, Volfgang Seyla (tenor) will play Veli and Michael Eberle will play Suleyman.
Azerbaijan Culture and Tourism Ministry, Youth and Sport Ministry and Embassy in Austria will support the staging, APA reports.
