Earthquakes hit Azerbaijan`s Guba and Shabran Districts

Two earthquakes occurred today at 07:30 and 09:36 local time, 27km south-east of Guba and 31km south-east of Shabran.

According to the Seismological Service of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, magnitude 5 and 3.5 quakes shook Guba and Shabran Districts respectively.

The depth of the earthquake in Shabran was 7km.

Tremors were not felt.
