TV TOKYO Corporation broadcasts program on Azerbaijan

Japanese TV TOKYO Corporation has broadcast a program about Azerbaijan.
The Japanese TV channel’s crew visited the country last October.

The Japanese audience took great interest in the programme which has been broadcasted lately on the “TV Tokyo 7 Digital”.

The programme highlights Azerbaijani people’s eternal love and respect to national leader Heydar Aliyev. The programme also praised Heydar Aliyev as the founder of the Azerbaijan’s renaissance and great leader.

Azerbaijani people’s support of President Ilham Aliyev, and his tireless, as well as sustainable activity for the country’s achievements, and successes in socio-political, economic and cultural spheres, the Japanese TV said.

The programme also says that the country which is a bit bigger than Japan’s Hokkaido Island has great natural resources and Azerbaijan’s capital city Baku is attractive for its combination of ancient and modern style buildings.

Touching upon the capital’s modern architecture, the authors also highlighted the “Flame Towers” in the capital which turned into the country’s symbol.

They also highlight Azerbaijan’s tourism potential, the night landscape of Baku, the National Flag Square, night illuminations of the capital and other modern constructions.

The programme especially stresses that Azerbaijan’s has ancient oil industry traditions, and highlights the country’s rapid development during recent years by fruitfully using its hydrocarbon resources.

The programme especially points out the taste and richness of the Azerbaijani cuisine, as well as people’s hospitality, stressing the great interest in Japan in the country as the students have persistently been learning the Japanese at the Azerbaijan University of Languages and the Japan Center which has been operating at the University.
