New magazine has been distributed to the participants at the opening ceremony of IV International Music Festival in Gabala organized by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.
Heydar Aliyev Foundation president, Goodwill Ambassador of UNESCO and ISESCO, MP Mehriban Aliyeva's congratulatory message to the participants of the festival was placed on the first page of the magazine published at a high printing level, AzerTag reported.
According to the message, the traditions of tolerance existed in Azerbaijan for a long time. Representatives of various peoples lived in peace and harmony in Azerbaijan for centuries.
The country is constantly contributing to the promotion and development of intercultural and inter-civilizational dialogue. It has recently become famous in the world as a venue for holding various international music and art festivals, conferences and exhibitions.
"The number of events promoting mutual enrichment of different cultures is increasing from year to year. The grandest Eurovision Song Contest Eurovision-2012 was held in our country just a few months ago. This time, music united people in Baku, regardless of their nationality, religion and political views," the welcoming message said.
Holding the first International Music Festival in one of the Azerbaijani most beautiful places in 2009 laid the foundation of a new tradition in the history of the national musical culture.
This festival, aimed at expanding the boundaries of international cultural relations, acquainting the world community with our rich musical culture, strengthening mutual understanding and friendship among peoples, has become a brilliant tradition. It becomes more popular around the world from year to year.
"I believe that the current festival, which will involve many world famous musicians as every year, will once again be an unforgettable music holiday and remain one of the interesting pages in the history of our musical culture," Mehriban Aliyeva's message to the participants said.
The magazine includes extensive information about Gabala region, as well as local and international vocalists, symphonic and chamber orchestras, mugham singers, world-renowned masters and famous musical groups taking part in this international festival and their success.
