Quake jolts Azerbaijan

A 3,0-magnitude earthquake rocked Azerbaijan's Caspian Sea sector near the city of Sumgait, Seismic Survey Centre of National Academy of Sciences reported Friday.

The quake occurred early in the morning local time. Its epicentre was in Caspian Sea near Sumgait. A tremor was felt in the near settlements. No destruction was reported.
