January warm spell continues

The National Hydrometeorology Department of the Ecology and Natural Resources Ministry reported that a prevalence of cloudy weather is predicted in Baku and Absheron peninsula. On Jan.11, mist and mizzle are expected in some parts of Absheron peninsula in the morning, along with lesser rain towards the night. Temperate south-eastern wind will blow.  The temperature is forecast to be +3-6˚C at night, +8-13˚C in the afternoon.

The weather is predicted to be mostly rainless, but rainy in some regions in the evening. Fog and drizzle will be during night and morning hours. Eastern wind will blow. The temperature will be -2˚C to +3˚C at night, +8-13˚C in the afternoon, 0-(-5) ˚C in the mountains at night, and +5-10˚C in the afternoon. The minimum temperature in the high mountainous areas is expected to be -13-18˚C.
