Armenian gov't offers new incentives for cooperation with UAE

The Armenian government approved an agreement on “Scientific and Technical Cooperation between the Republic of Armenia and the United Arab Emirates” that will offer an incentive for the implementation of scientific, scientific-technical and socioeconomic joint programs and projects on the principle of co-financing, as well as exchange programs for scientists and specialists and training for those working in the sciences.

According to a government press release, these programs and projects are essential for the economies of both countries.

The government also approved “Armenian National Report in accordance with 5/1 Resolution Paragraph 15(a) of the United Nations Human Rights Council.”

With another ruling the government approved also Armenia's 3rd and 4th joint regular national reports on the implementation of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child.

Last year, the government approved 6 more reports related to human rights.
