Iran's petrochemical production increasing

Iran's major petrochemical company, Amir Kabir Petrochemical Company, has increased production by 16 percent, said the Managing Director of Amir Kabir Petrochemical Company Yadollah Mosadeghifard, Trend reports citing IRNA.

"The company's polymer and ethylene production has been higher than predictions in the last Iranian year (started March 21, 2021)," he said.

He pointed out that Amir Kabir Petrochemical Company had a 45-percent increase in ethylene production last year, compared to 2020.

The company's polymer products include high, low ,and linear low-density polyethylene in various grades.
