Iran arrests 2 Pakistani terrorists

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) has said that two “Pakistani terrorists” were arrested in the country’s southeast.

The two terrorists, linked with the Islamic Republic’s opposition groups, were arrested during an operation in Saravan District in Sistan and Baluchestan Province after entering the Iranian territory, the IRGC said Sept. 20.

Iran’s security forces seized two bombs from the terrorists, which they planned to explode in crowded places.

Arms and ammunition were also found and seized from the terrorists’ hide-out, the IRGC statement said, adding that further details will be shared with public soon.
