Russia’s Energy Ministry, Gazprom intensify work on Turkish Stream

Russia’s Energy Ministry and Gazprom PJSC intensified work on the preparation to implement the Turkish Stream gas pipeline project’s construction, RIA Novosti reported on August 31 citing the head of Gazprom’s Directorate of International Gas Infrastructure Projects Dmitry Khandoga.

Khandoga said that an intergovernmental agreement with Turkey on the project is being prepared.

“We are currently intensifying work with our Turkish partners, Russia’s Energy Ministry on the project,” he noted. “Currently, the preparation of an intergovernmental agreement and the determination of further steps on its implementation are being conducted.”
