At least 1 police officer killed, 2 wounded in Virginia shooting - reports

One policewoman was fatally shot, while two other police officers were injured in the shooting in the eastern US state of Virginia, Sputnikreported with the reference to The Washongton Post.

The newspaper added that the incident took place at 5:30 p.m. local time in Virginia's Prince William County.

Media reported that the killed officer was sworn on Friday and began her first shift this weekend.
