Armenian organizations of the U.S., including Tesaket, Geopolitik, Hayduk, and Armenian revival issued a joint statement to announce officially that from now on they will not support the criminal regime headed by Serzh Sargsyan.

“Criminal activity of the Armenian government jeopardized the independence of the country," the statement said. "Predatory exploitation of public resources, transferring strategically important sectors of economy to another country, violence that predominates in the country, violation of freedoms and rights of citizens led to the migration of Armenians from the country.”

Armenian organizations of the U.S. call to overthrow the current criminal regime in Armenia by rejecting any differences to unite against a common enemy. Relations between Yerevan and the Diaspora are far from good those days.

This is not the first time when Armenian Diaspora raises its voice against the current regime prevailing in the South Caucasus country as it donates big amounts of money to the poor post Soviet country, demanding a simple “respect” from the government in exchange.

Armenia, left alone in the region due to its aggressive policy towards the neighboring countries, simply will not be able to “survive” without transfers of more prosperous organizations from abroad, and the country’s authorities clearly realize it.

However, it is naïve to think that Diaspora does not follow its own goals and its only target is to “free” poor people. On the contrary, it seems like the reason of their dissatisfaction is the inability to “press” on the current government.

Armenian population remains locked between two powers, struggling with each other. As a result, the country is falling apart piece by piece, suffocating in violence and poverty.
