After Iranian ex-vice president Mohammad Reza Rahimi and former VP in executive affairs Hamid Reza Baghaei were charged with corruption, another official of the Ahmadinejad administration has found a case undergoing legal procedures.

Kamran Daneshjoo has been found guilty of issuing illegal orders in relation to the real estate sector when he served as Tehran governor general, said Qobad Afshar, director of the Land Affairs Organization.

He said Daneshjoo’s case has been sent to the Judiciary for further action.

Daneshjoo was the governor general of Tehran province during the first term of Ahmadinejad administration. He was set minister of science during Ahmadinejad’s second administrative term.

According to Afshar, Daneshjoo had headed a committee that issued permissions for construction projects in lands formerly used for agricultural purposes.
