Turkey's plans to commemorate solemnly the centennial of the decisive Gallipoli Battle angered the Armenian terror organization forcing it to warn Turkey and all participant countries that attacks will be staged.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said the Armenian ASALA terrorist organization threatened the countries invited to join the commemorative events on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Canakkale Victory on April 24.

In an interview with local Milliyet newspaper, Erdogan expressed his confidence that Turkey will sooner or later expose the insidious forces standing behind this terrorist organization.

He added that the celebrative events devoted to the Chanakkale Battle's centennial will also be a perfect opportunity for Turkey to call the international community to promote peace and stability.

The Armenian Secret Army for the Liberation of Armenia, aka ASALA - an internationally recognized terror organization by the U.S. Department of State and the National Counterterrorism Center of the U.S - is acknowledged as the leader of numerous Armenian terror groups and a driving force behind Armenia's terror tradition. It was established by the immigrant Armenian youth headed by Agop Agopyan who turned to violence and armed struggle as a means of achieving his two "sacred" goals: to urge Turkey to confess the "genocide" against Armenians in 1915 and to annex swathes of lands in eastern Turkey into "greater Armenia."

The National Counterterrorism Center of the U.S. said ASALA committed 84 terror attacks, 46 killings and 299 injures worldwide. Numerous terror actions committed by ASALA between 1970 and 1980 around the world against Turkish diplomats resulted in the deaths of more than 40 Turkish diplomats.

The overlap of Ankara's Gallipoli celebrations with Yerevan's commemoration of its so-called "Armenian genocide" centennial on April 24 is seen as the major reason behind ASALA's threatening calls. In letters to Turkish embassies, consulates and tourism consultancies across the world, ASALA announced that it will resort to certain attacks against Turkey and all participant countries at the Chanakkale Battle festivities.

Ankara officially invited the presidents and heads of government of over 50 countries to partake at the festivities dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the victory in Gallipoli battle on April 24.

President Erdogan also invited Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan to attend the festivities honoring the 100th anniversary of the great victory of the Battle of Chanakkale, saying that this could serve as a good premise for dialogue between the two sides in view of easing long-lasting tensions.

However, the Armenian authorities refused to participate and in a counter move invited Erdogan to visit Yerevan for joining the commemoration of its fictitious "Armenian genocide".

The Armenian authorities and diaspora plan to solemnly mark the 100th anniversary of the so-called "genocide" on April 24, 2015. Armenia insists it wants Turkey to admit to its so-called guilt even though all evidences prove that no genocide ever took place.

But since Armenia has been unable to command any factual proofs to support its claims, its calls for "recognition" have fallen into deaf ears.
