Turkey will achieve great successes in the fight against militants of the terrorist Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) by late year, Deputy Prime Minister of Turkish government Bulent Arinc believes.
As Anadolu agency reported on Tuesday, Arinc said that the recent activization of the PKK militants is associated with Ankara's foreign policy. Some militants infiltrated into Turkey from neighboring countries - Iran and Syria, Arinc said.
The conflict between Turkey and the PKK has lasted for over 25 years. The PKK is recognised as a terrorist organisation by both the UN and the EU.
