Azerbaijani-Indian ties mulled

Azerbaijani Ambassador to India Ibrahim Hajiyev has met the country`s Minister for Law and Justice Salman Khurshid. The Ambassador said his country attaches great importance to development of economic cooperation with India. He thanked Khurshid for his efforts to contribute to expanding relations between the two countries.

The diplomat also spoke of the documents agreed on cooperation between the two countries` justice ministries. Khurshid, in turn, recalled his participation in an international conference entitled “For democracy and stability: new opportunities for cooperation” held in 2008 in Baku.
The Minister underlined the necessity of development of cooperation between Justice ministries of Azerbaijan and India as well as reciprocal visits of ministers. The Ambassador presented a book entitled “Azerbaijan”, prepared by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, to the Indian Minister.
