'2011 was successful year for Azerbaijani Diaspora'

The Azerbaijan`s Embassy to Germany hosted a “round table” with participation of representatives of Azerbaijani Diaspora organizations in this country. The representatives from Frankfurt, Hamburg, Koln, Stuttgart, Bielefeld, Kiel, Magdeburg, Dresden, Mainz, and other cities of Germany attended the event.

The meeting discussed results of 2011 year and further activity. Azerbaijani Ambassador to Germany Parviz Shahbazov pointed out 2011 was successful year for Azerbaijani Diaspora. He said the 20th anniversary of Khojaly genocide would be commemorated next year here, adding importance of raising awareness of the German community about this genocide.
