'Azerbaijan moves forth step by step towards being a member of European family'

“Azerbaijan is a part of Eastern Europe and has a great chance to join European Union. We’ll achieve this goal together,” said Head of the EU delegation in Azerbaijan Roland Kobia in the conference titled “Effective public administration: time challenges.”

“We can see transparency and successful fight against corruption in Azerbaijan,” Kobia added. He underlined that not only Azerbaijan, but all European countries have to fight against corruption and to be transparent in public administration.

EU representative pointed out importance of Baku`s hosting Eurovision – 2012 and Azerbaijan`s election as a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council towards popularization of Azerbaijan. “Azerbaijan moves forth step by step towards being a member of European family,” he noted.
