Azerbaijani Defense Minister to confer with CIS counterparts in Almaty

Azerbaijan`s defense minister, colonel-general Safar Abiyev has today left for Almaty, Kazakhstan to attend a regular meeting of the CIS Council of Defense Ministers.

The meeting will focus on the current state of and prospects for cooperation between the CIS countries` armed forces.
