Azerbaijan's new ambassador to U.S. appointed

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has signed an order to appoint Elin Suleymanov the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Azerbaijan to the United States, according to Azerbaijani president's official website.

Upon another Presidential order, Suleymanov was conferred a diplomatic rank of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary.

Under another Presidential order, Yashar Aliyev was recalled from his post as Azerbaijan's ambassador to the U.S.
