11 July 2011 [15:18] - TODAY.AZ
The Co-Chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group, Ambassadors Bernard Fassier of France, Robert Bradtke of the United States, and Igor Popov of the Russian Federation, are expected to visit the region over a serious document, Deputy Executive Secretary of the ruling New Azerbaijan Party (NAP), MP Mubariz Gurbanli said.

"I believe that this time the co-chairs will come with a serious document to the next presidential meeting," he said, adding that discussions related to the document’s submission will ensue.

The Co-Chairs’ upcoming visit is aimed to conduct preparations for the next presidential meeting, he added.

During the visit, the co-chairs will discuss issues related to the situation after the meeting in Kazan and a paper which was presented there, and the parties’ positions on the document, he added.

"I think that the issues related to the conflict settlement are moving very seriously, and this move will be fruitful," he added.

Presidents of Azerbaijan, Russia and Armenia, Ilham Aliyev, Dmitry Medvedev, and Serzh Sargsyan discussed the basic principles of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict settlement in Kazan. The ninth meeting ended without reaching agreements on the basic principles of the settlement. The sides noted the progress towards this goal in a joint statement.
