Azerbaijani President received delegation headed by Iran's Interior Minister

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received Iran's Minister of Internal Affairs Mostafa Mohammad Najjar and his accompanying delegation.

The Head of State underlined Azerbaijan-Iran bilateral relationship is successfully developing. The President expressed assurance Iranian Interior Minister's visit to Azerbaijan would be successful and give a kick-start to friendly and brother relations between the two countries. The Azerbaijani leader noted Iran-Azerbaijan bilateral ties would continue to strengthen.

Minister Najjar offered President Mahmoud Ahmedinejat's greetings to the Azerbaijani leader.

The Interior Minister said Iranian delegation`s including governors of four provinces sharing border with Azerbaijan is the manifestation of visit`s importance. The Head of State asked the Minister to pass on his greetings to President of Iran.
