Azerbaijani president pardons group of prisoners

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has signed an executive order pardoning a group of prisoners.
The mercy decision came after President Ilham Aliyev considered requests by the prisoners, their families, as well as personality, the state of health, marital status of the sentenced and their behavior during this period.

This order shall apply as of the date of its issuance.
