Abdullah Gul attends opening ceremony of new building of lyceum in Baku

President of Turkey Abdullah Gul attended the opening ceremony of a new building of the educational corps of the Baku Turkish Lyceum Anadolu in the center of the city in the framework of a working visit  to Azerbaijan Friday, reports the press service for the Turkish embassy to Azerbaijan, according to Novosti-Azerbaijan.

The ceremony was also attended by Turkish Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Hilmi Guler, Azerbaijani Education Minister Misir Mardanov and other officials.

Abdullag Gul notably arrived in Azerbaijan to attend the fourth energy summit held in Baku.

On Thursday Presidents of Azerbaijan and Turkey met and discussed prospects of bilateral relations.

The Turkish President also attended a reception, arranged by President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev in honor of high guests, who arrived in Baku.

The meeting between President of Turkey and his Lithuanian counterpart Valdas Adamkus was held on Friday morning during which the sides discussed the issues of cooperation between the two countries.

On November 14 the Turkish President will return to Ankara.
