Azerbaijani FM meets with chief of US State Department's office on combat with human trafficking

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mamedyarov met with chief of the office of the US Department of State on combat with human trafficking Mark Lagon during his visit to New York in the framework of the session of the UN General Assembly, said spokesman for Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry Khazar Ibrahim.

The sides discussed cooperation between the two countries in the sphere of combat with human trafficking.

Mamedyarov spoke of the work, held in Azerbaijan in sphere of migration, adoption of laws and listed an example of creating the State Migration Service.

Lagon in turn promised to share USA's experience in this sphere.
