Elmar Mamedyarov: "Azerbaijan is interested in ensuring security of energy corridors"

"The principle of observation of the territorial integrity and inviolability of borders, recognized on the international level, should become the main provision in the resolution of territorial conflicts", said Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Elmar Mamedyarov at a meeting with deputy chief of the committee on political issues of the assembly of Western European union Michael Hancock, according to Novosti-Azerbaijan.

He said the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict is the main problem of Azerbaijan, interested in establishing good neighbor relations with the regional states.

The members of the foreign delegation, in turn, stressed the wish of the delegation of the assembly to end the visit to Azerbaijan on September 14-17 and prepare a report on the Caspian Sea and European security for the purpose of informing the public about the problems of the Caspian littoral states.
