Siyavush Novruzov: Flexible policy underway as result of reforms by Azerbaijani president

Flexible policy is being carried out today as a result of the reforms implemented by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Azerbaijani MP, Deputy Executive Secretary of the ruling New Azerbaijan Party Siyavush Novruzov said at a plenary meeting of the Azerbaijani parliament on October 8, Trend reports.

While congratulating Ali Asadov on appointment to the post of prime minister, Novruzov stressed that Ali Asadov became the party member, then a member of the Economic Committee of the ruling New Azerbaijan Party and then for five years has been one of the party’s members in the parliament.

“Ali Asadov took an active part in establishing economic relations between Europe and Azerbaijan, bringing our legislation in line with the European standards,” the MP added. “His merits as an assistant to great leader Heydar Aliyev, as well as to the Azerbaijani president are well known. Ali Asadov was the head of the working group during the construction of the Oguz-Gabala-Baku water pipeline.”

“Along with the merits shown during the implementation of important projects for Azerbaijan, Ali Asadov as a close assistant to the president played an important role in carrying out the reforms in the agricultural and economic spheres,” Novruzov added.
