Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili arrived in Azerbaijan on August 31.
Azerbaijani Deputy Prime Minister Ali Ahmadov and other officials welcomed Kvirikashvili at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport.
The development of the bilateral cooperation is planned to be discussed during the visit.
The visit of Kvirikashvili to Azerbaijan was announced after a meeting of Kvirkiashvili with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov, who was in Tbilisi for an official visit on August 29.
The Prime Minister has today visited the Alley of Honors to lay a wreath at the tomb of national leader, founder and architect of modern Azerbaijani state Heydar Aliyev. He also put flowers at the grave of prominent ophthalmologist, academician Zarifa Aliyeva.
Kvirikashvili also visited the Alley of Martyrs and laid a wreath at the Eternal Flame monument here.
