Kazakh president to jet to Baku in August

Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev is expected to pay an official visit to Azerbaijan in the second half of August, Azerbaijani Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to Kazakhstan Zakir Hashimov told Trend today.

"President Nazarbayev will take part in the next summit of Turkic-speaking countries," Hashimov added.

According to him, President Nazarbayev is expected to meet with the country's leadership within the summit.

"Further expansion of bilateral cooperation will be discussed," Hashimov added.

The third Summit of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States will be held in Baku in mid-August.
