Turkish President to depart for Azerbaijan in August

Turkish president Abdullah Gul is expected to visit Azerbaijan on August 15-16, Turkish president's chief adviser Ahmed Sever told Trend on Thursday.

Gul will participate in the next Summit of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States, which will be held in Baku.

According to Sever, Gul will hold a series of meetings with Azerbaijani officials during the visit.
