Azerbaijani Deputy FM meets chairman of Russian State Duma Committee

Azerbaijan`s Deputy Foreign Minister Khalaf Khalafov has met chairman of the Russian State Duma Committee on International Affairs Alexei Pushkov.

Khalafov praised relations between Azerbaijan and Russia.

He provided an insight into the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, as well as discussions on the settlement of the problem.

The Deputy Minister said Armenia is trying to maintain the status quo, which proves its unconstructive position.

They also discussed regional and international security issues.
