Azerbaijan to join Afghanistan development program

NATO is preparing a program for the development and reconstruction of Afghanistan after 2014, said in the NATO headquarters in Brussels.

According to the head of the Permanent Mission of Azerbaijan to NATO Khazar Ibrahim, Azerbaijan will provide NATO suggestions to the participation in this program, and contribution that Azerbaijan can bring improvement in Afghanistan, Trend special correspondent reported.

Azerbaijan today helping Afghanistan in a number of areas, including training in mine clearing, training of diplomats and aid in other areas.
