Azerbaijan takes over presidency of GUAM

Azerbaijan took over the presidency of the Organization for Democracy and Economic Development, GUAM on January 1. During the one year presidency Azerbaijan`s main priority will be settlement of conflicts in GUAM countries, law enforcement cooperation, development of interparliamentary ties and cooperation within international organizations. A decision on Azerbaijan`s taking over presidency of GUAM was adopted on December 7 at a meeting of the GUAM Council of Foreign Ministers in Vilnius.
