Azerbaijan marks the 18th of April – International Day of Monuments - PHOTOS

That’s right, today, on 18th of April the whole world marks the International Day for Monuments and Sites. The Day was set back in 1982 by the Assembly of the International Council for the Protection of Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS), established under UNESCO. The Day, since then, is celebrated since 1984. Well, Azerbaijan is obviously a part of the world, so its time we scroll through the historical monuments that our beloved capital has.
