Documentary about Azerbaijani mugam becomes best at international film festival in US

Documentary film of Georgian TV channel PIK "Mugam" was awarded at Moondance International Film Festival in US. According to the channel, the documentary, featuring the unique genre of the Azerbaijani music shared the victory with British "A way to home" in nomination "the Best Short Foreign Film". According to producer Alexander Gabuniy, this film is a history of humanity without a word.

The opening night of "Mugam" will be held on September 16 in Denver, Colorado. The capital will also host the awarding ceremony on September 18.
