Azerbaijan's renowned mugam singers attend music festivals in Europe

Azerbaijan's renowned mugam singer Alim Gasimov and her daughter Fargana Gasimova have recently returned from European tour.
They have performed in prestigious music festivals in Spain, France and the United Kingdom, Azerbaijan’s honored artist Fargana Gasimova said.
 
“In Spain, we attended international festival “Spirit Music” and “Sea and Voice”. We later performed in 65th international festival in Lion. From this city we flew to London to attend “Music world and dance” festival which is usually held in several cities across the world simultaneously,” Gasimova added. Gasimovs were accompanied by famous American music quartet “Cronus”.
