The films shot in fiction, documentary, animation, experimental, and movies in 3D are shown at the Russian Information and Cultural Center (RICC) in Baku, Trend Life reports.

The festival is held by the Russian Museum together with International creative association "World of Art" with the assistance of Rossotrudnichestvo.

On the first day, visitors enjoyed four feature films and short documentary in the framework of " The Fire" program.

Addressing the event, RICC’s member Dmitry Ponomarev said that the visitors become not only spectators, but also the jury of the competition. In the end, they will fill the questionnaire and rate the viewed films.

Artkino is the Russian festival of short films, established by "World of art" film studio in 2008.

The festival is held annually in Moscow. The contest accepts feature, documentary, animation, experimental and 3D films with running time under 30 minutes, created by students and graduates of the Russian film schools as well as independent domestic directors.

The winners of festival are awarded in various nominations such as "The best film of Artkino film academy", the Audience Favorite" prize and others.
