Azerbaijani women among most stylish in Europe, ID FASHION

The 3rd Baku Fashion Night will take place in Baku between October 16 and 18.

A press conference for the event was held at the Excelsior Hotel Baku on September 10. The conference was held with support from “FMS Models”, Excelsior Hotel Baku, and “ID FASHION” TV channel.

Lubov Gutorova, the Head of the “FMS Models” school, addressed the event, saying that fashion show is held in the country twice a year for the “Fall-Winter” and “Spring-Summer” fashion seasons.

“The first show was held in 2014 in the outdoor pool of the Excelsior Hotel Baku, while the second one this March, which demonstrated the Spring-Summer collection. The participation of the foreign and domestic designers aroused great interest in the project. This time the event will include foreign and domestic designers’ Fall-Winder collections. Our goal is the development of the fashion industry in the country, and to identify new talents and promote them on the European catwalks,” she said.

This year, one of the designers will be Jordi Dalmau of Spain, who has featured his collections in Milan, Paris, and Barcelona. He will put his unusual wedding collection on display. His colorful wedding dress collection will be a refreshing change from the traditional white dresses seen in most weddings throughout the world.

Jordi captures perfectly the essence of time and translates it into a collection of gowns that allow his brides to show a contained emotion at the time of the ceremony, to then finish in pure euphoria and joy during the party.

ID FASHION producer Vasil Klimchuk, for his part, talked about the rapidly developing fashion industry of Azerbaijan.

“Azerbaijani women are one of the most stylish in Europe. Collections of your designers distinguish with peculiar approach, originality, with bright colors and a national flavor, and meet modern requirements. In the show we will demonstrate various collections, all of which will be presented in an unique theatrical form. Thanks to “ID FASHION” the show will be screened in many European countries and they will see the high organization level and originality of the collections,” he noted.
